Long Island Gets Its Own SPUG – SharePoint Users Group
Last Wednesday , June 16, was the inaugural meeting of Long Island’s very own SPUG, the Lighthouse SharePoint Users Group (SPUG). Lighthouse SPUG was founded by Pat Esposito, CEO, IMPACT Management and meets once a month to discuss topics of interest to its members. As SharePoint’s usage and popularity grows, especially with the release of SharePoint 2010, Pat saw a real need to bring a SPUG to Long Island. “SPUG meetings provide a great venue for users, developers and the IT community at large to network with peers, share their experiences with the technology and keep up with what’s new and what’s going on with SharePoint.”, Pat Esposito, founder Lighthouse SPUG.
Lighthouse SPUG meetings will be held the third Wednesday of each month. The Lighthouse SPUG website is http://www.lispug.com.
